Heavy rains caused flooding in some areas west of Philadelphia overnight.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Berks County, northwestern Montgomery County and northeastern Chester County until 9:15 a.m.

There are no reports of injuries but at least one unoccupied car was swept away by water on High Street in Pottstown.

The weather service says a few showers or a thunderstorm are possible later Wednesday morning and into the afternoon as a cold front moves through.

It is humid this morning and afternoon highs will be the 80s. Drier air will settle in later today "setting the stage for a very nice end to the week," according to the weather service.
