What I Do
I write unsigned editorials and bylined essays for the Opinion team, specializing in local policy issues such as housing and transportation.
My Background
I am a lifelong Philadelphian, and a graduate of Philadelphia public schools and Temple University. Before joining The Inquirer, I held a number of different roles. I've sold shoes, booked travel, poured coffee, tended bar, and weatherized homes. I've also worked for local government and interned at Center City District, where I worked on the last pre-pandemic State of Center City Report.
When I'm not working on a new opinion piece in favor of funding SEPTA, I am usually with my wife and our three children.
