Former NBC10 traffic reporter Jessica Boyington has been off the air since February, but now she’s back — at rival 6ABC.

Boyington this morning appeared on 6ABC’s Action News, where she delivered a “Weekend Happenings” segment for the station. She also announced her return to Philly TV news in a post on Instagram, writing “I’m baaaaaaaack!!!”

The post was Boyington’s first on social media since Feb. 7, when fans first noted her absence from NBC10’s News Today morning broadcasts. An NBC10 spokesperson confirmed Boyington’s departure in late February, but declined to provide more detail, noting that the station does not “comment on personnel matters.”

Boyington’s move to 6ABC marks her third Philly TV news station affiliation. Prior to working at NBC10 as a traffic reporter, which started in 2015, she held the same position at CBS3, where she began in 2012. In her first segment for 6ABC this morning, Boyington informed viewers about what events to check out this weekend, suggesting that her role there may be more entertainment-oriented.

Boyington isn’t the only local TV news personality making moves as of late. As Fox 29’s Lucy Noland wrote in a recent Facebook post, an upcoming fundraiser she is working on will be her “last fundraiser while I’m still at” the station. Noland came to Fox 29 in 2014 from KNBC in Los Angeles.

A Fox 29 spokesperson confirmed Noland’s departure from the station, and noted that her last day with the Philly Fox affiliate will be May 30. The station has not yet announced her replacement.

Media moves aren’t the only thing Noland and Boyington have in common: both women were Daily News Sexy Singles. Boyington was class of 2009, while Noland was class of 2016.
