It’s a quintessential summer experience, and a nostalgia-inducing one for many. With the dog days of summer here, Inquirer contributor Jen Kinney has rounded up seven area spots to strike up a friendly game of mini golf.
Among them is Monster Mini Golf, the indoor concept on Springdale Road that gives the game a spooky twist. Two of the best holes? One with a glowing skull and another with an extra challenge.

One of the Cherry Hill Mall’s earliest tenants continues to thrive, recently expanding into a larger space. Known for its gag gifts, Spencer’s opened its first brick-and-mortar at the mall in 1963. The Inquirer’s Sarah Nicell explores how it’s continued to grow in the years since.
Cherry Hill developer Shamikh Kazmi and his brother Syed Kazmi have been linked to at least six locations of the President Donald Trump-backed Freedom Fuel network. The chain of gas stations made a splash earlier this month by selling cheaper fuel, but that’s no longer the case, with gas prices on the rise. Here’s what to know about the stations.

🏫 Schools Briefing
The district has a limited number of spaces remaining for preschool students this upcoming year. Families with 3 or 4 year olds have until Aug. 11 to join the waitlist.

A new ice cream shop is coming to Cherry Hill, with a planned fall opening. Ooty’s Homemade Ice Cream is opening at 1900 Greentree Rd., where it will serve small-batch scoops.
