Each Friday, Inquirer photo editors pick the best sports images from the last seven days. And despite the summer rapidly approaching, there’s no slowing down when it comes to Philly sports. Just this past week, we saw the Phillies split a pair of series with the Cleveland Guardians and the San Diego Padres before heading to L.A. to take on Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers. In addition to the Phillies, the Eagles, including running back Saquon Barkley, returned to the practice field this week for OTAs. And over Memorial Day weekend, there was a banana-eating contest down the Shore.
