Philly TV news alum Jamie Stelter and her husband, CNN's Brian Stelter, are expecting.
The former Fox 29 traffic reporter (and Philadelphia native) made her announcement via social media Tuesday, sharing a picture taken during a recent vacation to Hawaii that shows off her baby bump:
Stelter, whom we knew as Jamie Shupak during her time at Fox 29, also broke the news on-air Tuesday at New York City's NY1, where she currently works as a morning traffic reporter:
"I think that the traffic report might be doubly better now," Stelter said Tuesday morning. "Because there's two of us."
Stelter served as a traffic and feature reporter at Fox 29 in 2008 and 2009, and moved on to NY1 in 2010. She released her first book, Transit Girl, about a New York City traffic reporter, in 2013.
Stelter married Reliable Sources host Stelter in 2014 in a ceremony at the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia. This will be the couple's first child; the baby is expected to arrive in late May.
