There's been chit-chatter about the status of married couple Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom for months. It looks like it might finally be over for the reality star and her NBA playing husband; TMZ reports that Khloe is finally filing for divorce.

TMZ claims that Khloe is alleging irreconcilable difference in the official divorce papers. The pair have been married since September 2009.

Problems first arose when Odom, 34, was arrested in August for driving under the influence. On Dec. 9 he pleaded no contest for the charge and was sentenced to three years probation and was required to attend three months of alcohol abuse treatment.

It seemed like things were going to work out for the couple when they were spotted attending the same Kanye West concert and more recently a Jay Z concert. But the final straw seems to have come in the form of a "cracked out rap video." The video, originally posted by TMZ, shows Lamar recording himself on a cell phone camera in an inebriated state. Things get real ugly when he says: "And when Khloe's out of town / I still be on the DL." His friend int he video then follows up with, "You know what it is / We the QU [Queens] pimps / Ask any of these shorties / We ran through their cribs."

The two have not been photographed together since Nov. 23 and Kardashian, 29, has posted several empowering message to her Instagram and Twitter accounts that reflect the feelings of heartbreak.

She also posted a note about learning to love on Dec. 7. "Dear Human: You've got it all wrong," the note read. "You didn't come here to master unconditional love. That is where you came from and where you'll return. You came here to learn personal love. Universal love. Messy love. Sweaty love. Crazy love. Broken love. Whole love. Infused with divinity. Lived through the grace of stumbling. Demonstrated through the beauty of...messing up. Often." – Us Weekly
