Ben Folds is doing things a little differently. Touring behind his upcoming album, recorded in less than two weeks and featuring classical music ensemble yMusic, Folds will spend three nights in Philly performing at three different venues.

Along with yMusic, Folds' residency will see a night at the TLA on Monday, May 11, World Café Live on Tuesday, May 12 and Temple Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, May 13.

Tickets for all three dates go on sale on Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. either online or at the TLA, World Café Live or Temple Performing Arts Center's box offices.

Pairing with symphony orchestras and touring behind a three-movement concerto and orchestral rearrangements of his solo work and songs from Ben Folds Five, the songwriter spent much of the past two years experimenting classically with his "Concerto For Piano and Orchestra." It made its Philly debut at the Mann Center last June.
