Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert plans for ‘A Very Uzi Christmas’ at the Fillmore

This winter, rapper Lil Uzi Vert wants you to join him for the holidays in Philadelphia.

The Philly-born emcee announced his "A Very Uzi Christmas" mini tour that features a finale show at the Fillmore here in Philly in late December.

The tour kicks off its inaugural run on Dec. 18 in at the Fillmore in Charlotte, N.C., before moving on to Fillmore venues in Raleigh, N.C., and Silver Spring, Md. The Philly show will cap Vert's mini tour on Dec. 22.

Tickets for the show are available now, and start at $30. However, fans can enter to win two tickets to the Philadelphia Fillmore show, travel accommodations included, by entering an online contest. Philly-based fans, of course, might find the travel accommodations part a little unnecessary. But, hey, it would be nice to have your Uber charges covered for the evening.

Vert currently is touring behind his most recent mixtape, The Perfect Luv Tape, which was released on July 31, Vert's 22nd birthday. The rapper, however, released three more new tracks earlier this week. He also recently guested on Meek Mill's DC4.

Vert's Dec. 22 performance in Philly is one of the rapper's few scheduled performances in the area as 2016 draws to a close. So, if you want to see him, you may not get too many more chances before the year is up.

Beginning in mid-February next year, the Philly native will join The Weeknd on his "Starboy: Legend of the Fall" tour, which kicks off in Europe before moving on to the U.S. in April. Currently, that tour has no Philadelphia date.
