Last month, just before submitting the script to ABC, Jenkintown's Adam F. Goldberg, whose show draws heavily from his childhood, said the spinoff would be based on the faculty of Penn Charter, from which Goldberg graduated in 1994. (Variety reports that the show may also include Tim Meadows as school guidance counselor Andre Glascott, depending on the future of his Fox show, Son of Zorn.)
