Outdoor movies and food trucks at Moore College
A Friday night indie series on the Parkway.
Indie film and food will converge this summer at Film al Fresco, an outdoor film series presented by the Galleries at Moore College of Art & Design.
The 2013 summer series will run on the following Fridays: June 14, June 28, July 12 and July 26 at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.). The films will be shown on a large outdoor screen in Aviator Park on the Ben Franklin Parkway, across the street from Moore, at 1916 Race St. If it rains, the films will be screened in Stewart Auditorium at Moore. The food trucks will remain outdoors.
Filmmakers will introduce their work and participate in Q&A sessions with moviegoers after the credits.
The Galleries at Moore received a $20,000 Knight Arts Challenge Grant from the Knight Foundation to establish the film series.
Filmmakers who reside in the Greater Philadelphia region were eligible to submit a film for the film series.
