Still hazy what Clinton's Friday rally means for getting around Philly

Hillary Clinton's campaign is planning a rally on Independence Mall Friday afternoon, but what that means for people trying to get around Center City isn't clear yet.

The campaign's web site states the event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on the 600 block of Market Street. The National Park Service has stated a final permit for the event that will provide more details has not yet been drafted.

SEPTA is determining whether 5th Street Independence Hall Station will be kept open during the event, or will be temporarily closed. The authority may put out information on Thursday.

The Secret Service, meanwhile, is being, well, secretive about security plans for the event. A spokesman for the Secret Service said the agency will not release information about road closures in advance.
