One dies, one critically injured after Tioga shooting

A double-shooting Monday afternoon in the Tioga section of Philadelphia left one man dead and another fighting for his life, police said.

Both were shot about 2:10 p.m. outside on the 3500 block of North 15th Street. A 23-year-old man was shot in the head and taken to Temple University Hospital, police said. He was pronounced dead at 8:38 p.m.

The other victim, a 21-year-old man, was shot five times, with wounds to his left shoulder, abdomen and both legs, police said. He was also taken to Temple, where he was in critical condition.

No arrest has been made and no weapon has been recovered, police said.
