Cops ID man fatally shot outside Checkers restaurant

A 20-year-old man was shot and killed outside a Checkers restaurant in Hunting Park, police said.

Authorities on Thursday identified the slain man as Kwadir Hines-Baldwin.

He was found in the fast food restaurant's parking lot after having been shot once in the head and once in the back around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 1300 block of Butler Street.

Hines-Baldwin, of Hunting Park, was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:42 p.m.

No arrests were reported, and no weapon was recovered.

Police said Thursday that the motive for the killing remained unknown and no description of any suspect was available.
