Construction to start on Good Stuff Eatery

If you are hankering for a burger or shake from Good Stuff Eatery at 18th and Chestnut Streets, just fold up your napkin and wait patiently a little longer.

Though Top Chef alum Spike Mendelsohn signed the deal back in January, demolition of the former Numa Japanese restaurant at 108 S. 18th St. is only now finished.

Construction is expected to begin shortly for a February/March-ish completion.

Mendelsohn chose a Philly designer - Ed Eimer of Eimer Design - who is also sketching out Kevin Sbraga's new eatery, The Fat Ham.
