Matt Bellamy, 36, has decided to speak up about his breakup with Kate Hudson, 35, the lovely A-list actress who is the mother of his 3-year-old son, Bingham Hawn Bellamy. No wonder: Rumors are circulating that Kate has a new beau, Dancing With the Stars' Derek Hough.
"Love all of you guys!" tweets the Muse front man. So cheerful! I mean, Matt was slated to wed Kate. Why is he all smiley-faced?
"We're both very happy, it's for the best. Thanks for your kind words," he goes on. Muse's new album was due this fall, but has yet to appear. It'll have songs about "deep ecology, the empathy gap and world war 3," Matt has said.
A&E has green-lighted 8 Minutes, a reality series about Orange County, Calif., cop-turned-pastor Kevin Brown, who tries to persuade prostitutes to quit the life, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Brown, a former vice detective, will have only eight minutes per girl to make his pitch.
Brown's been on such a mission for years, says exec producer Tom Forman. The only difference is that now he'll do it on camera.
"Brown told his congregation that for 20 years he's had to arrest these women when what he's really wanted to do is help them," Forman says.
Comedy Central funnywoman Amy Schumer, 33, will host the 2015 MTV Movie Awards on April 12, says the cabler, which calls Amy "the most ascendant talent in comedy today." . . .
