At a reception April 27 at the Rittenhouse Hotel, philanthropist and activist Lynne Honickman was presented the 2015 Woman One Award by the Institute for Women's Health and Leadership of the Drexel University College of Medicine. Honickman was honored for her many contributions to the community, including her work with Project HOME, the founding of Moms Against Guns, and for the Honickman Foundation's support for the arts. Proceeds from the evening will support scholarships for female medical students at Drexel.
