Unless you've been living under a boulder for the last week and a half, you probably know the Eagles are playing the Patriots on Sunday in the Super Bowl. You probably also know that if the Eagles win, thousands of rowdy Philadelphians are going to take to Broad Street for a celebration of the ages, which will likely include more greased pole climbing. If they lose, you won't want to be alone as the city wallows in heartbreak, and these spots will be close to public grieving, as well.

If you're looking to be close to the spectacle, here are the bars that are both showing the game and a stone's throw away from Broad Street — fingers crossed — for the celebration.

South Broad

Good Dog Bar

Good Dog Bar will be showing the game on Sunday with no cover charge, so it's worth hitting up if you're looking for a laid-back spot to throw back a couple beers with your friends near City Hall.

224 South 15th St.

Oscar’s Tavern

If you're trying to avoid paying cover charges at splashy sports bars, this divey spot in Rittenhouse Square will be showing the game with no cover charge.

1524 Sansom St.

Fado Irish Pub

If you have a big group, Fado's is taking reservations for groups of 10, 15 or 25. If you're not, come by for $5 Yuenglings and what's sure to be a rowdy time in the front.

1500 Locust St.

Locust Rendezvous

Check out Locust Rendezvous for a down-to-earth Super Bowl night. They'll be charging a cover, and you'll be able to get $3.25 Krombacher pints, $2.25 cans of Bud Light and $3 Black Velvet Canadian whiskey shots.

1415 Locust St.

12 Steps Down

This beloved dive bar will be showing the big game on all their screens, with food and drink specials to boot. They'll be embracing a South Philly tradition — the block pool — which changes the specials depending on how the game is going. For example, if the Eagles are leading, beer prices might drop a few bucks for as long as that lead is held. The bar will also be serving $6 wings throughout the night.
