June 25-29. Gloucester, Mass. Honoring St. Peter, the patron saint of fishermen, with music, food, sporting events, a parade, a blessing of the fishing fleet, and other religious celebrations.
3. 32d Annual Vermont Quilt Festival.
June 27-29. Essex Junction, Vt. More than 80 quilt vendors, 80 classes and lectures on quilting, and 400 quilts on display, plus awards contests and appraisals.
4. 17th Annual WoodenBoat Show.
June 27-29. Groton, Conn. Traditional and modern wooden boats of every type, including yachts, fishing boats and power boats.
5. Blue Crab Cluster All-Breed Dog Shows.
