Three hotels in West Yellowstone, Mont., the western gateway to Yellowstone National Park, are offering late-spring deals of up to 44 percent off peak rates. For example, for a family of four, nightly rates at the Gray Wolf Inn & Suites and Yellowstone Park Hotel start at $89 for the rest of May and $139 in early June, compared with summer rates of $199. At the Holiday Inn West Yellowstone, the rate is $109 and $153, respectively, down from $249. Add 10 percent per night in taxes. Book by June 9 or 15, depending on the package; stay through June 30.
The 14-suite Hotel Carl Gustaf on the Caribbean island of St. Barts is offering discounts of more than 25 percent on three- and five-night packages. In addition, the third and fourth passengers in the same stateroom cruise for free.
