Megabus, the low-fare bus company, is giving away 200,000 free seats for travel in the United States and to Toronto, based on availability.

NYC and Co. is kicking off its Signature Collection Third Night promotion in New York City. Stay two consecutive nights at any of 20 Signature Collection hotels and receive a free third night, plus a Key to Madison Avenue card, an access pass to 70 special offers at boutiques, spas, restaurants, and art galleries. Prices vary by property and date. For example, in mid-January, three nights in a premier room at the Mandarin Oriental with a Hudson River view costs $1,832, with taxes - a savings of $916. Watch the whale migration from Kaanapali Beach Hotel and save at least $175. The Whale Encounter package costs $1,574 double, with taxes, and includes four nights in an ocean-view room, daily compact rental car, daily breakfast, whale-watching tour, two bottles of water per day, two beach towels, picnic lunch with backpack, and one-day rental umbrella and chaise longues. International Expeditions is offering a $1,000 discount on the March 30 departure of its Galapagos Voyage. Price after discount starts at $4,098 per person double. The seven-night trip aboard the 32-passenger Evolution includes a seven-night cruise; daily naturalist-guided excursions including hiking, swimming, and snorkeling; two nights at Hotel Oro Verde in Guayaquil, Ecuador; most meals; transfers; and taxes.
