Traffic getting by trash spill on 202 South

While coming off a ramp from the Schuylkill Expressway this morning, a tractor-trailer collided with a barrier and tipped, spilling trash onto southbound Route 202.

The accident closed southbound 202, as equipment was brought in to clear the trash.

As of 8:45 a.m., the truck remained disabled on the ramp, but one lanes was getting by on the ramp and both lanes were moving on southbound 202.

Later today, the task of uprighting and removing the truck is likely to close the ramp and perhaps affect 202 as well.
