A man was gunned down in West Philadelphia just before midnight, raising city's homicide total for the year to 150.
That's 10 more than last year at this time, police said.
Sean Amir Maye, 22, was found outside in the 1600 block of North Robinson Street with gunshot wounds to the chest, throat and ear, according to Officer Beth DiDonato.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:18 a.m.
Maye lived in the 6100 block of Lansdowne Avenue.
Police have no suspects yet, she said.
Police also released the name of the man whose body was found by a jogger Monday at a driving range near Juniata Golf Course in North Philadelphia.
Thomas Bellmon, 25, of the 3400 block of Tampa Street, had been shot five times with a shotgun.
The jogger reported the discovery under the Wyoming Avenue overpass to the operators of the nearby Fishers Glen Driving Range about 8:15 a.m. before continuing on his run, detectives said Monday.
Still unnamed, however, is a second victim found Monday morning. At about 6:15 a.m., the man, who had been shot in the head, was found on a rear driveway behind a property on the 6400 block of Belfield Avenue in East Mount Airy.
He was pronounced him dead at the scene.
