Body is that of missing Bucks mother

Falls Township police have identified the woman whose body was found this morning as that of a Bucks County woman who has been missing since last Wednesday.

Falls Township police have identified the woman whose body was found this morning as that of a Bucks County woman who has been missing since last Wednesday.

Lt. Ron MacPherson confirmed the woman's identity as Gina Marie Bobbing-Mormando, 32, of Croydon. Bobbing-Mormando's body was found inside her minivan about a half-mile from where she was involved in a minor crash last week on Route 1 in Fairless Hills.

"There were no signs of foul play," MacPherson said. "We didn't find anything suspicious."

Detectives said they received a call from an employee of the Puss 'N Boots Tavern at about 4 a.m., urging police to check an adjacent parking lot.

Investigators found the woman's body inside the minivan. Police confirmed earlier this morning that the minivan belonged to Bobbing-Mormando, a mother of three.

An autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon. MacPherson said the results would determine the next steps in the investigation.

The missing woman's family had organized a search for her that was to start this morning.
