Mayor Nutter's proposed budget will get a second day of hearings today as City Council meets to discuss his tax plans.
Nutter is seeking Council approval to continue trimming back the wage tax - though not as deeply - while reducing the gross receipts and net income portions of the business privilage tax.
In addition, the mayor wants to increase the taxes paid by private parking garage and lot owners in the city.
The hearing is expected to begin at 10 a.m., with the public invited to testify between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
