ESPN’s Suzy Kolber has a baby

Here's why Upper Dublin-bred Suzy Kolber had been shown from the waist up during her coverage of ABC/ESPN's NASCAR and Monday Night Football:

Kolber, who turns 44 in May, delivered a baby girl yesterday. Kolber's father, Gene, said baby Kellyn weighed 61/2 pounds and measured 19 inches long.

Suzy Kolber, who chose to become a single mother, expects to cover the NFL Draft in late April. "She's in the maternity ward reading stuff right now," her father said.

"She has two goals at the moment," her father said. "One is to do the NFL Draft and the other is to spend all her time till the NFL games resume with my wife [Sandra] at our place in Ventnor."

Gene Kolber, a marketing executive, said that a reference on his daughter's Wikipedia page to an "early 2008" marriage was erroneous.
