Police arrested Roberts at a home on the 900 block of West Dauphin Street that morning after responding there for a report of a shooting.
They arrived around 9:20 a.m. to find a 22-year-old man who had been shot in the neck, police said.
The victim, whom police did not identify, was taken to Temple University Hospital. The extent of his injuries was not immediately clear. Police said Wednesday that the man was stable.
Police did not identify a motive as they continue to investigate the crime.
