Man, 29, shot dead in front of Old City eatery

Police have no motive or suspects in the early morning slaying of a 29-year-old Southwest Philadelphia man who was gunned down and fatally wounded in front of an upscale restaurant in Old City, police said.

Police have no motive or suspects in the early morning slaying of a 29-year-old Southwest Philadelphia man who was gunned down and fatally wounded in front of an upscale restaurant in Old City, police said.

Keith Gray, was standing in front of the Prive Tapas Restaurant and Lounge near the corner of Third and Market Streets about 1 a.m. when an unknown gunman approached and repeatededly fired.

Gray, of the 6000 block of Chester Ave., was struck in the chest, the stomach, and twice in the right thigh, police said.

He was rushed to Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 3 a.m., police said.
