Authorities are investigating after two suspicious overnight vehicle fires in Philadelphia's Tacony section.

The first blaze was reported at Torresdale and Robbins streets at 1:36 a.m., according to the Philadelphia Fire Department.

Then, half an hour later, another car fire was reported two blocks away, on the 6300 block of Ditman Street.

In that incident, two vehicles in a driveway were damaged, the fire department said. The blaze also spread to a nearby home, though no major damage to the dwelling was reported.

The fire department said the cause of the fires was not immediately known, but investigators considered the blazes suspicious.

No one was injured in the fires and both were placed under control by 2:30 a.m.
