2 men killed in separate shootings are identified

Police yesterday identified two young men killed Wednesday night in unrelated shootings.

Qwentay Barton, 18, was found shot in the back shortly after 9 p.m. in the 2400 block of Morris Street in South Philadelphia. Barton, of the 1500 block of South Taylor Street, was pronounced dead at the scene less than a half-hour later.

Ivan Williams, 20, was shot multiple times about 9:30 p.m. during an apparent robbery near his house in Kingsessing. Williams, of the 5400 block of West Trinity Street, was pronounced dead at 9:59 p.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
