Wing Bowl tickets go on sale

Tickets for Wing Bowl 23 went on sale at 9 this morning through ComcastTix.com.

All available seats at the Wells Fargo Center for the Jan. 30 event cost $10.

The annual event is run by SportsRadio 94 WIP.

Last year's winner, Molly Schuyler, will return to defend her crown.  She set an event record by eating 383 wings.

The top eater will win $10,000, a Harley, and a diamond-studded ring. This year, the runner-up can also win $10,000.

The top local eater and the top college eater get new cars, and the top Wingette will get $5,000 and a hot tub.

Proceeds benefit charities.
