Man killed in shooting in South Philly Lowe’s parking lot

The victim was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

A 21-year-old man was killed in a shooting at a Lowe’s parking lot at a South Philadelphia shopping center on Monday afternoon, police said.

The victim was shot nine times about 1 p.m in the lot off South Columbus Boulevard. He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital by police and pronounced dead at 1:20 p.m.

Police made no arrests and gave no motive.

The killing was one of five homicides Monday in Philadelphia.
