There’s a new flavor at Rita’s — but only for a month
The Bensalem-born national water ice purveyor is offering the new Mermaid flavor at all Rita’s locations from Monday, June 15, through Sunday, July 19.
Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard added a new limited addition flavor to the summer menu on Monday.
Mermaid Italian Ice is a vibrant pink flavor that combines berry and marshmallow and comes topped with glitter.
The Bensalem-born water ice purveyor is offering the flavor at all 600 Rita’s locations nationwide from Monday, June 15, through Sunday, July 19.
Rita’s Italian ice is made fresh daily on-site with a rotating selection of over 80 flavors. The menu also includes frozen custard, gelati, concretes, frozen coffee, Rita’s Blendinis, and milkshakes.
Philadelphians can order the new flavor two ways: Mermaid Gelati — Mermaid Italian ice layered with vanilla frozen custard and topped with glitter — and Mermaid Ice Blender — berry-marshmallow blended into an icy drink shimmering with glitter.
