The Biggest Loser returns for its whopping 17th season on January 4 for an entire season featuring couples. One of those pairs is Jacky and Stephen Kmet of Hainesport, NJ. The couple, married for 18 years, both attended Reading's Albright College and have two children.

Stephen, who starts the season at 309 pounds, says that his weight affected his career as a pharmaceutical sales manager because "presentation and image are everything. Companies don't want to hire an obese person to represent them and their health products." He started gaining weight after a layoff, his father's ALS diagnosis, and his son's juvenile diabetes diagnosis.

Jacky starts the season at 304 pounds. Kmet had an "aha moment," according to her NBC bio when she was too big ride one of the rides while on vacation down the shore.

NBC's long-running reality show has a new host this year: veteran trainer Bob Harper. He takes over for Allison Sweeney, who had hosted since 2007. Dolvett Quince and Jennifer Widerstrom will serve as trainers, while Harper will continue to offer advice.
