Sarah Palin spoofs Liz Lemon in '30 Rock' parody

What happens when Sarah Palin takes on Tina Fey?

This weekend Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made several slam-dunks when they co-hosted on Saturday Night Live.

To promo the duo's latest comedy, Sisters, the friends pulled out all the stops as if it were their last – particularly Tina Fey. The Upper Darby actress paid homage to her hometown, took a jab at allegations against Bill Cosby, and revisited her most recognizable role as Sarah Palin.

While the real Sarah Palin has gone head-to-head with Fey on SNL, we've never seen the political figure reverse her role… until now.

The former Governor of Alaska paired up with The Independent Journal to create a trailer for season one of 31 Rock, a parody of Fey's hit NBC show 30 Rock, that stars Palin as struggling, stressed out TV writer Lynn Melon. While her acting skills aren't exactly satisfactory, cameos by Kevin Brown (who played Dot Com in the original series) and Senator John McCain make this kind of delightful.
