Sarah Silverman announces Keswick Theatre appearance

Us Philadelphians will have something to laugh about early on in the New Year, courtesy of comedian Sarah Silverman.

Sarah Silverman will appear at Glenside's Keswick Theatre on Sunday, Jan. 15, the theater announced Wednesday.

Tickets for Silverman's upcoming performance go on sale at noon Friday, Dec. 2, online and in the Keswick box office, as well as via AXS, and by phone at 215-572-7650. The show is all ages (but contains mature content), and tickets run $49.50 to $69.50, before fees.

Silverman, who got raves for her role in the indie movie I Smile Back, will continue to expand her film career next year in addition to performing live dates. She'll appear in The Book of Henry and Battle of the Sexes, both set for release in 2017.

Earlier this week, Silverman spoke with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders at a live event in Glendale, Calif. Back in July, she spoke at the Democratic National Convention here in Philadelphia, telling "Bernie or Bust" supporters, "You're being ridiculous."

More information about Silverman's upcoming performance is available on the Keswick site.
