LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - Syfy has cut a deal with David S. Goyer for a Superman prequel revolving around the Man of Steel's grandfather.
David S. Goyer, the prolific producer who has shepherded DC Comics properties in the past including "Man of Steel," is spearheading "Krypton" with DC Entertainment and Warner Horizon Television. Ian Goldberg ("Once Upon a Time") is writing the teleplay based on a story that he conceived with Goyer.
