McShea considering UMass

Remember Jameson McShea?

He's the Boston College High School (Mass.) senior tight end, who decommitted from Temple earlier this month. Well, the 6-foot-4, 245-pounder is now considering future Mid-American Conference team Massachesutts. UMass offered him a scholarship on Dec. 20.

"Yeah, I like [UMass]," he told ESPNBoston.com's Roger Brown via a text message. "I'm going to check it out some more though."

He is also considering Boston College, Maryland, Harvard and Dartmouth. Of those four schools, Harvard is the only one to offer any kind of financial aid. In other words, McShea will have to pay tuition to play at Boston College, Maryland and Dartmouth.
