Temple football team registers 225 in marrow matching drive

The Temple football team took time out from spring practice on Monday as they registered 225 people for their marrow drive.

Every spring, in memory of former equipment manager Michel'le Daughtry, the football team teams up with "Be The Match" in its effort to recruit new members locally to add to the marrow registry.

Patients with leukemia, sickle cell and other life-threatening diseases have relied on Be The Match through the "Get In The Game, Save a Life" program.
