Donovan McNabb on Saturday hosts his annual "White Party," to benefit his DM5 Foundation, which works to bolster awareness and prevention of diabetes.

McNabb's father, Sam McNabb, is a spokesman for the American Diabetes Association.

DM5 also provides academic scholarships to students from McNabb's high school, Mount Carmel, just outside Chicago, among other charitable efforts such as Children's Crisis Treatment centers, and the American Red Cross.

Many Eagles are expected at the Saturday-night party at the Cira Centre, across from 30th Street station. Guests must wear white clothing from head to toe. Party organizers include Donovan's brother, Sean McNabb; Tarik Wallace, cousin of Rasheed Wallace of the Pistons, and Adam Solomon, who, to our knowledge, is not related to a famous athlete. Tickets are $75 per person by calling 215-595-3888 and are also available at Mitchell & Ness (1318 Chestnut).
