Behind senior tailback Jarrett McClenton's four touchdown runs, Archbishop Wood topped previously undefeated Central Valley, 33-14, in Friday night's PIAA Class AAA football final at HersheyPark Stadium.
McClenton, who carried 26 times for 232 yards, found the end zone on a pair of 12-yard dashes in the opening 11 minutes. He broke free for a 51-yard score in the third quarter and added a 15-yarder in the fourth.
Senior fullback Alex Arcangeli chipped in 132 yards on 16 tries. He closed the scoring with a 7-yard rumble with 1 1/2 minutes to play.
The Vikings (14-1) captured their second straight championship and third in four seasons. The Warriors (15-1) were trying for their first title.
