2 men critical after being shot in North Philly

Two men were hospitalized in critical condition Tuesday afternoon after being shot in the Swampoodle section of North Philadelphia, police said.

The shooting occurred on the 2100 block of Indiana Avenue at about 3:20 p.m.

A 58-year-old man was shot twice in the stomach and was taken by private vehicle to Temple University Hospital, police said. Another man, whose age was not known, was shot once in the back and was also taken to Temple, police said.

Police said no weapon was recovered and no arrests were reported.
