Police are looking for a man who robbed a Burlington County auto service center by smashing a door and threatening a worker with a crowbar.

New Jersey State Police said the assailant broke into the Bear Tire and Auto, located at 1409 Route 38 in Hainesport, about 3:20 a.m. Wednesday by shattering the glass door with a crowbar.

Then, he used the weapon to threaten a dispatcher, took her purse and $7 from the cash register, and then fled across Route 38, police said.

Anyone with information can call the state police's Bordentown station at 609-298-1171.
