Cops probe death of boy, 2, in Kensington

Police are investigating the "suspicious" death of a 2-year-old boy in Kensington.

Authorities went to the home on the 600 block of East Clementine Street about 11:50 p.m. Tuesday for a report of an unresponsive child on the second floor.

When officers arrived, a man and a woman met them outside, holding the child, police said.

The child was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital, where he died at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday.

Police did not provide further details about the incident, but described the death as suspicious.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday afternoon.
