Man critical in daylight Hunting Park shooting

A man was critically wounded in a Friday afternoon shooting in Hunting Park.

Philadelphia police said the 31-year-old victim was shot three times near Sixth and Butler Streets just after 12:15 p.m. He suffered wounds to his neck, cheek and shoulder.

The man was taken to Temple University Hospital.

No arrests have been made. No further details about the circumstances of the shooting were immediately available.
