Man dies in Camden shooting

Authorities are investigating after a man died in an overnight shooting in Camden.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of East State Street just after 1:20 a.m. Tuesday for a report of gunfire, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.

They found 29-year-old Shaun L. Johnson, of Camden, suffering from gunshot wounds, prosecutors said.

Johnson was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:25 a.m.

No arrests have been made and no information about any suspects or motive was available.
