A Berks County man who allegedly led police on a high speed chase through three counties and rammed a police vehicle before abandoning his car with his family inside has been arrested.

John Soto, 24, of Douglassville, was charged with aggravated assault, fleeing or eluding an officer, endangering welfare of children, driving with a suspended or revoked license and other related crimes. He was remanded to Berks County jail after failing to post bail, PennLive reports.

On Tuesday, Soto's Nissan was pulled over by police. With his four-year-old daughter, two-year-old son, and the children's mother in the car, Soto speed away. He led police through Chester, Montgomery and Berks Counties. When officers tried to box him in, Soto rammed one of the cruisers. He finally pulled over in Colebrookdale Township and ran, according to the story.
