The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is ceasing publication of its print edition.
The newspaper's Nov. 30 edition was its last. The outlet plans to continue publishing stories online and through a new email edition.
Trib Total Media will launch a new website, pghtrib.com, to cover Pittsburgh-area news and sports, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
The company has downsized significantly over the past year, with cost-cutting measures that included layoffs, buyouts, and selling off properties. The latest shift has resulted in 106 full- and part-time workers being laid off, according to the company.
Trib Total Media says its two other daily publications, the Greensburg Tribune-Review and the Valley News Dispatch, will continue to print seven days a week. Its weekly papers also will continue to publish print editions.
"We have a very simple, very strong message: We're not going anywhere," Tribune-Review editor Luis Fabregas told the Post-Gazette. "We're very much alive."
