Soccer star Carli Lloyd gets married on the beach

The good times continue for Carli Lloyd, the Delran native, soccer star, author and now newlywed.

Lloyd, who just finished up a publicity tour for her book, married her boyfriend of 15 years, Brian Hollins, on a beach Friday in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.

Wedding website TheKnot.com reports that Lloyd and Hollins said their vows "before 75 of their closest friends and family members in an intimate beachside affair."

Lloyd, 34, and Hollins -- a golf pro at the Trenton Country Club -- have been dating since Lloyd was a sophomore at Delran High School and have been engaged since 2013.

The timing of their wedding became widely known when the U.S. Soccer Federation announced last month that she would not be participating in the women's national team's current training camp ahead of games later this month.
