There is a lamb on the lam in New Jersey.

Earlier this week a black bear captivated a Main Line township as it raced around a school, charged a police officer, and then disappeared. Now it is a sheep on the loose in suburban Haddonfield Borough.

"As for as I know now, it has not been apprehended," Bennett said. "We understand it is 150 pounds, and that is not a little white lamb."

Lt. Ed Wylie said the sheep was seen Thursday morning in the area of Coles Mills Road and the county park.

Wildlife experts are trying to corral the creature but not having much luck, he said.

"Ewe got to be kidding me?" Laura Ashley commented on the Facebook posting.

"No, we're not pulling the wool over your eyes!" the Borough responded.
